The Birth of GEMQUE
Gemque is a story born out of love for Jewellery intertwined with love between our co-founders, Bhawna & her fiancee Bhaskar. It all started when Bhaskar decided to give a special birthday gift to Bhawna: a Victorian Emerald Neckpiece. She was taken aback by the Emerald’s beauty, and he by the appreciation he received. So much so that they went ahead and got a customized ring and a set of earrings made out of the Victorian Emerald. Fast forward to 2019, GEMQUE was born.

The Name GEMQUE
Bhaskar’s father is a well-known researcher of astrology. Bhawna and Bhaskar took a keen interest in their father’s knowledge and fondness for gemstones. While learning, they would always joke that one day they’ll have a QUEue of GEMstones. Hence, the name GEMQUE.

Why GEMQUE?
Over the last few years, GEMQUE has grown from an Instagram page to a fully functional online store. We have served more than 500 customers including some of the well known celebrities. We strongly believe in our deep rooted culture and tradition. Thus, all our products are handmade with a touch of love by the artisans who are a long time practitioner of the art.
